Our Design Process in 5 steps

Studio Blackthorns is like a small laboratory. Our mission is to experiment with, and refine new visual experiences. We listen to you, understand your needs and treat them as if they were our own. Just like the creation of a good craft beer (malting, brewing, fermentation, aging and filtration), here's how we brew our ideas and distill our creativity.

Phase 01: Diagnosis.
We study your current positioning.

Phase 02: Prescription.
We define the problem and set up a communication plan.

Phase 03: Design.
We propose creative ideas to solve the problem.

Phase 04: Prototyping.
We prototype selected ideas and take a practical approach.

Phase 05: Testing.
We develop and finalise the solution to the problem.

Epilogue: Joy.
Happy Hour time. We toast and celebrate the success of our collaboration with a good craft beer, a single malt or even a noalc Kombucha!

Our studio is based in Lyon and French Polynesia. The missions we carry out are both in France and abroad. Working remotely isn't something new to the studio and we communicate exclusively through Email, Whatsapp & Zoom.
